This week for TWD Jessica of cookbookhabit chose World Peace Cookies on page 138-139 of Dorie Greenspan's Baking: From my home to yours. I had made these before but they didn't turn out like they looked in the book. I'm still not entirely sure what I did wrong. Maybe I used too much butter, but my cookies on this post spread quite a bit. They were still tasty and I also had added kraft caramel bits to the cookie. This time, I was worried I did something wrong until I read the P & Q on TWD website. I realized then this cookie was crumbly.

I was able to press the dough together and slice them, but it wasn't the easiest thing to do! However, they turned out like I thought they should look!
I gave some of these cookies to my son Chris and the rest I gave to one of our graduate students at work who had a birthday on Saturday (hope you had a great birthday Uditha!).
