My next item on my list of things to do after I bought the oranges was to find something to do with them.
I found a blog post on Cast Sugar for this Blood Orange Tart – so I got busy and made my tart! Nemmie also gave a link for Salted Caramel Sauce. At first I thought I wouldn’t bother with the caramel sauce, then I decided why not! I am so glad I made it although I have to admit it is addicting and you can eat it easily by the spoonfuls! The caramel is a perfect accent to the slightly “tart” tart!
