I think I'm late

Yeah, I know I'm late..... but its worth the wait!
(yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a poet and don't know it...)

This month I was paired with Liza of Knick Nosh and today I made her Hummus recipe! Taste and Create is an event held by Nicole of For the Love of Food and is my favorite internet event!

Each month Nicole pairs you up with someone else and you make an item from your partner's blog and post about it! I love it because it gives you variety!

Now, this hummus, I made this for me. I don't even know if Grumpy will eat it - but he should (as it has a lot of good for you things in it and he is SICK). Yeah, Grumpy has a sore throat today which is going to prevent him from eating dinner with my mom and dad. I'll be nice and bring some dinner home because I am still going to visit them. ;o)

I love Liza's blog. She likes to make healthy food and I'm all for that .... as long as I can mix it with some naughty food once and a while. he he. I followed Liza's recipe which you can find by clicking here. The only thing I did different was I added about 1/4 of a red pepper to my food processor also. This was a quick and easy recipe to make and its so good for you! Check out Liza's blog for some other healthy and yummy looking recipes!

  16. This hummus looks so creamy and amazing! Unfortunately, I've had to give it up (chickpeas are no longer friendly toward TN) but it doesn't mean I can't look, admire, drool . . .
