Today is my mommy's birthday. Yesterday she and dad came over to the house and I fed them leftovers (what a treat. lol) and I went to the effort to make her a "Sugar on Snow" cake. The cake was not photogenic so I did not take a picture....but I will make it again and will post it in the future. I also gave her a quilting pattern book for potholders, a new BH&G cookbook (since her old one - and I do mean old) is coming all apart, and a minature pecan pie plate. She was tickled :o)If I had been feeling better it would have been a more extravagant dinner for her, but I'm still healing. I'll still be off work a few more weeks, but have been given permission to pick my activity up which makes me very happy!
In any case, I want to wish my mommy a very happy birthday. I love you mom and will see you again soon! XOXO
