Another week of Cooking Light Giveaway!

Last weekend I made this Cranberry Hazelnut Coffeecake from Cooking Light. I had been eying this recipe for a while and now that fresh cranberries are abundant in the grocery I decided it was time to make it. I also had another reason I should make this coffeecake as you will soon find out!

A several weeks ago my friend Aaron of Magsdirect.com asked me if I would be interested in doing another giveaway and if so, when would I like to do it. I immediately responded that I thought the first week of December would be a great time. Just in time for the holidays! This also would give me opportunity to bake some new (to me) recipes.

My magazine of choice to give away is Cooking Light. What, your not surprised? :o) Aaron has generously offered to give away 3 subscriptions!! I asked Aaron if it would be ok to share this giveaway with a blogging friend and he agreed. So, for this giveaway my friend Patsy of Family, Friends, and Food , who also loves Cooking Light magazine will be participating. Monday, Wednesday & Friday you can enter on The Life and Loves of Grumpy's Honeybunch. Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday you can enter on my friend and fellow blogger Patsy of Family, Friends and Food. For doing this giveaway, Aaron has also offered to give Patsy and myself each a subscription! Thank you Aaron!

  16. Baking red, white and green sweets!!! I'm way colorful in my baking for xmas! This year is going to be red velvet cake w/ green frosting on the outside and a layer of white in the middle. Yum!

  19. My favorite holiday tradition is our Italian Christmas Eve. We have all the family over and eat lots of Italian food. Then we spend Christmas Day with just the immediate family. It's great!

    My favorite Cristmas traditions are cookie baking; my kids still say it's not really Christmas unless certain cookies are made.
    We also have a real tree every year, a tradition that I'm now willing to change, but maybe when all the kids leave the fold, I can do this.

  29. My fav tradition is the Christmas pudding. I have been trying out lighter versions this year but there is nothing to beat a dark, spicy fruity brandy soaked pudding. Oh and dont forget the brandy butter of course.

  31. Awesome giveaway! My favorite tradition is dinner at my mom's.
    She still makes the Polish pierogi and we have a meatless Christmas Eve. At the table there is an empty place setting and chair with a bit of straw under the tablecloth. This is to signify the place for the baby Jesus.
    I also have an advent calendar every year...some kids can't grow up!
