Cascadian Farm Giveaway!

Earth Day’s 40th anniversary was on April 22nd and Cascadian Farm wants you to join the celebration by pledging to follow a few eco-friendly tips on Facebook. Choose from eight different pledges, ranging from reusing clothes to reducing your speed while driving on the highway, and find the one that fits your lifestyle. For each person that signs a pledge now through May 31, 2010, Cascadian Farm will donate $1, up to $40,000, to the Organic Farming Research Foundation, which fosters the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems.

How would you like to receive a “Live Green Together” prize pack that includes Cascadian Farm cereals and granola bars, including: Fruitful O’s cereal, Cinnamon Crunch cereal, Chocolate Chip Chewy granola bars, Dark Chocolate Almond Granola, Dark Chocolate Almond granola bars, Oats & Honey granola, and an eco-friendly grocery bag?  Cascadian Farm through MyBlogSpark is looking to give this prize pack away to one of my readers.  I received this prize pack myself and I can tell you that the products are great.  Grumpy and I both loved the granola bars (they were chewy!) and the cereal was great too!

  1. I just pledged to decrease my food waste by menu planning and being aware of what is in the refrigerator. I hate seeing food thrown away but I need to be better at this!

  4. I pledge to start growing more of my own fresh veggies and fruits and buying more fresh ones because they take less energy to process than canned or frozen.

  6. I pledge to start paying closer attention to our meal planning, etc, again. It's something I've always done anyway, but I've gotten a bit lazy (well, more like distracted) and haven't been on my top game.

  7. I pledged to decrease my food waste by menu planning. I hate when I dont have a plan. I will also continue to recycle, keep lights off when not in use and unplus things when not in use.

  8. i promise to abide by the 'if it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down' toilet philosophy. :)
