Citrus Cream Cheese Pull Apart Rolls

The next submission to the Brunch/Breakfast contest being co-hosted with my friend Fallon of Fallon’s Cucina were these Citrus-Cream Cheese Pull Apart Rolls.  They were submitted to to the  contest by Barbara of Barbara Bakes.  I have known Barbara for a couple of years now.  I believe that Barbara and I met through Daring Bakers.  I remember back in the early days of reading Barbara’s blog, she had taken a romantic trip to Italy to celebrate her 30th wedding anniversary! She and I started exchanging emails about then and I remember talking to her about my son’s wedding.  Wow, can’t believe it has been two years!

Barbara makes these rolls for her family every Easter!  It is also a very quick and easy dish…..if you read her recipe correctly and realize you need to buy frozen roll dough!  I have a tendency sometimes to “think” I know what the recipe requires – and then find out I was pretty darn wrong!  I ended up making my own roll dough since I live too far away from a store to just run out quickly and buy frozen dough :o)

The final recipe for the contest will be posted on or around May 5th, so make sure you stop by to see who the winners of the brunch contest are!  If you would like to try Barbara’s Citrus Cream Cheese Pull Apart Rolls yourself, take a hop, skip and a jump on over to her blog by clicking HERE.

If you would like to join in the fun and receive recipes, enter contests and giveaways, Ask Grumpy questions, and challenge me to recipe redo, you can sign up by filling out the form to the right!  I hope to see you there!

Shelby, my mom got diagnosed with a neckhernia yesterday. Is this similar to what you where operated on last March? My mom may have to be operated….

Thanks for featuring my rolls. I often make them with homemade whole wheat rolls now too. I can't believe it's been two years too. I've really enjoyed our friendship. I'm looking forward to the final post.
