I always think pumpkins, butternut squash, and apples when fall arrives. For today’s #SundaySupper Slow Cooker event I decided to bring you some warmth with a Spiced Caramel Cider.
Today’s #SundaySupper is being hosted by Heather of Hezzi-D’s Books and Cooks and Christie of A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures
I really do believe that fall is my favorite season. The weather is perfect, it is beautiful outside with the changing of leaves, and fall foods are all over the place. I love everything about it! After a nice walk through the woods with Grumpy or even after being outside raking leaves, coming inside to a nice warm cup of something is a welcome thought and it couldn’t be any easier with this slow cooker recipe! If you love warming spices and caramel apples, you will love this cider!
Be sure to visit all the other tables to see other slow cooker recipes you can make this fall. Links will follow the recipe.

10 cups apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon mulling spices
1/4 cup orange juice
1/3 cup caramel sauce
Place mulling spices and cinnamon sticks in a double layer of cheesecloth, bring ends together and tie to enclose spices.

Place mulling spices in cider mixture and cover. Warm on low heat for 3 hours.
To serve, removed spices from mixtures. Stir well and serve in your favorite fancy mug 🙂
