Wow, can you believe another year is almost past us? Time sure flies when you’re having fun! Oh, and can you believe I have been writing this blog for 10 full years now? It blows me away that I’ve been doing this for so long! Anyway, because I have some really awesome (in my opinion!) recipes that made the top 10, I thought I would share them with you!
I’m quite pleased to find that some of my very favorite recipes are also favorites of my readers! The year 2017 seemed to be the year of appetizers and burgers! Three burger recipes and four appetizer recipes made it in the top 10! The other three recipes, a sauce, a casserole and a beverage are all delicious recipes also that definitely deserved to make it in the top 10 for this year. I’m super excited to share this post with you so, without further ado, let me share with you starting at #10!
These were SO yummy. My kids even had to make this recipe on their own after they saw it! I am amazed at how delicious the Morningstar Farm’s pulled pork is. I’ve always eaten their products, but this one was a game changer for me!
It is no surprise that this recipe from Claudia’s cookbook was a hit. After all, who doesn’t love deviled eggs?! They are a staple at every holiday for sure!
After being at our corporate Christmas party last year and having sausage stuffed mushrooms that were SO disappointing, I decided I could make them and make them better!
Ok you all, who doesn’t love a big, juicy, delicious burger!? Add sweet black pepper bacon and it’s completely irresistible!
This has to be my favorite recipe of all!! Well, next to my Grilled Reuben Burger. These enchiladas made a “mexican food” lover out of Grumpy. He really enjoyed them and actually remembers eating them (which is a big thing ya know!)
Nothing like a classic recipe from mom to make everyone happy. Especially when it involves the most delicious rhubarb! This recipe is so versatile. You can enjoy it on toast, put it in danish or sweet rolls, muffins, pies, cheesecake, or even sandwiches and martini’s! The list could go on and on.
Low-carb never has been so delicious. You don’t even miss the bun with this meal.
Ok, another absolute favorite of mine! Now that I am eating Keto, I’m kind of sad I can’t have this with the rye bread, but I used to eating burgers in lettuce now so I think I could replace the bread with lettuce and be happy.
This is a drink that will make your summers happy! Perfect to take to picnics or summer beach trips. I absolutely love peach flavor and this sangria is super delish!
Last but not least, another appetizer recipe! #1 for 2017 is Homemade Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
I made these using whole milk mozzarella. Oh my goodness! SO delicious! I will have to change things up to make this recipe keto friendly soon because I absolutely love mozzarella sticks (and so does Grumpy!)
I love every one of these recipes that made top 10 and am going to say that yes, you should try everyone of them yourself also!
I wish you a Happy New Year and I look forward to starting my 11th year blogging with my readers!
I also created a new page on my weight loss journey. I explain on that page, that I had weight loss surgery in 2006. I want to talk about my experience with the surgery before and after. I hope you will follow along. I have an instagram account specifically for my journey. Come join me there!
